Our featured essence for this month is the Solar Plexus Chakra Essence.
The Solar Plexus is a well known area of the body and this centre is located in the same place as its physical counterpart, just below the rib cage. It is the third of the major seven chakras and is known as Manipura in ancient Sanskrit and Mem in Kabbalistic traditionse.
This chakra is linked to the element of air and our mental nature. The colour associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra is yellow. The Solar Plexus is known as our centre of power and is where we feel our intuition at work. For example, whenever we are afraid or have a “gut feeling”, this is where we feel it. I'm sure you've all had butterflies in your tummy?
It is our thoughts and emotions affecting the energy flow in this centre.
If the Solar Plexus is blocked or out of balance, we may begin to show its negative aspects such as being unable to relax, moody, depressed, perfectionist and a workaholic. It can also leave us feeling apathetic, afraid of being alone, self-defeating, egotistical and judgemental.
Physically, this centre affects our digestion and is linked to conditions which affect the digestive system and all its aspects. Common examples such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Crohn's Disease, can be helped by treating this centre.
When the Solar Plexus Chakra is working as it should, we are able to know our own personal power and express it without being egotistical. It also lets us be in touch with our intuition and be able to deal with situations which threaten our personal power without over-reacting or retreating into ourselves.
The healing vibration of this essence acts to gently clear this chakra of negative energy which has built up over our lifetime. This clearing action allows us to release blocked emotions and situations we have dealt with over time and also helps us to learn from the events which caused the blockages. As we learn from them, we also learn to protect ourselves from these energies preventing blockages from happening again.
This centre is also directly linked to the Throat Chakra and bringing balance to the Solar Plexus may help us to clear our throat chakra, enabling right communication in emotional matters, the bringing forward of our intuitive powers and expression of our creativity.
The Solar Plexus is a very important aspect of our subtle energy system which deals with our environment and the people directly around us. These are the things which affect us daily and on the deepest of emotional levels. If we can learn to protect our energy system and how to release these emotions properly, then we will become more balanced emotionally and mentally. This allows us to be able to deal with difficult situations using our intuition alongside our mental capabilities (instead of just with our thoughts which may be influenced by these intense emotions, therefore not being able to focus clearly and provide the right reaction).
The health benefits are also enormous, as balance within the Solar Plexus will allow proper digestion which will bring nutritional balance, easing of food intolerances and allergies and improved general health and wellbeing.
As you can see, this vibrational essence works on many levels, through the physical to the emotional and mental aspects of yourself. For effectiveness, take four drops on your tongue directly from the bottle between 2 and 4 times a day. Finish the whole bottle and then review to see if continuation or change to another combination is needed.
It is not recommend that you take more than one combination at a time and it should be taken at least 10 minutes before food and drink.
